Dear Antique Dealer,
The Journal of Antiques & Collectibles is pleased to bring back a New Year’s tradition in Sturbridge with The Antique Collectibles Show, to be held New Year’s Day at The Sturbridge Host Hotel. The former Sturbridge Antiques Show over New Year’s had a loyal following of dealers and show-goers that looked forward to this annual tradition of kicking off the new year shopping for new, old finds. We are excited to fill the void that now exists with that Show’s closing in 2018.
We are curating a show of 60+ dealers of authentic antiques and antique collectibles. Dealers will be vetted before a contract is offered. Applicants will be asked to provide advance information about their business and submit pictures of their booth at another show or in their shop.
The Show Floor will contain space for up to 70 -10×10 exhibitor spaces at $135/booth for center aisle booths, and $150/booth for premium center aisle end cap booths and perimeter back wall booths (see Floor Plan). A multiple booth discount is offered (see Exhibitor Contract).
Access to the Show Floor will be made available to Exhibitors starting at 11am, New Year’s Eve day, with each contracted space marked and set-up at that time with the services provided or ordered. Show Management will have porters available from 11am-3pm to make move-in and setup, easier. The Hall will close for the evening at 6pm. We hope all dealers will be set up and cleaned up by the end of the day so the Hall is ready to welcome guests at 10am Wednesday morning when we open to the public. Security will be made available by Show Management from 6pm on Tuesday until the Hall reopens New Year’s Day. Click Here for complete Terms & Conditions.
New Year’s Day the Show will be open from 10am – 5pm. To celebrate the new year we will make sweet treats available in the exhibit hall for the enjoyment of guests and vendors. During the show you will also find a concession stand and cafe located in the entrance hallway so you can conveniently grab lunch, beverages, and snacks throughout the day. We will also make a Hospitality Table available and welcome postcards for upcoming shows, your business cards, and any company literature you would like to share with our guests.
Booth tear down begins when the Show concludes at 5pm, and we can clear the hall for the safety and security of all participants. There will be no access for dealers to leave the hall with merchandise before that time. At the Show’s conclusion and once the Hall is cleared, Porters will be made available to assist you.
We have reserved a block of rooms at The Sturbridge Host for the reduced rate of $149/night should you prefer or it is more convenient for you to remain local after a day of set-up. Sturbridge has many wonderful restaurants and options for New Year’s Eve, which we are happy to share with you when we send you your Dealer Confirmation Packet. Please reference the Sturbridge Antiques Show when you call The Host directly at 508-347-7393 to book your room.
All contracts must be submitted by December 1, 2019. New applications will only be accepted after this period if space exists. A $100 deposit per booth is required for a confirmed booth assignment. Payment in full is due by December 1, 2019.
We are committed to promoting this show with the full print and digital resources of the Journal of Antiques and Collectibles and our local Sturbridge publication, Your Hometown Shopper, and Sponsorship funding from the Sturbridge Tourist Association that will make other print and digital advertising and marketing efforts possible to ensure a great turnout and successful show. Our mission is to create a new holiday tradition in Sturbridge, showcasing the region’s finest dealers of antiques and antique collectibles.
We hope you will consider participating.
